BIO IN 30 SECONDS

• Photography (intermittent) since late 1970′s. Photo academy certificate. Special interest in travel and cultural imagery. Mainly documentary, reportage, street and also some theatre photography. Ongoing project on Roma (Gypsy) people in Europe.

• Short videos since 2008. Cultural documentary and live music registration.

• Guitarist since late 1970′s. Recorded three albums with post-punk band The Moral Virtue. Recorded 17 albums with experimental psychedelic band Climate Control. Currently home recording minimalist soundscapes.

• Travelling since 1993 mainly through Eastern and South Eastern Europe (Balkan). Visited a lot of Roma villages.

• ICT: Linux Operating System knowledge since 1998. Wrote MaxMenu, a combined zenity/ncurses menu frontend for BASH shellscripts in Linux, currently maintained for Ubuntu. Built about 100 RPM software packages as a volunteer for Mandriva-Linux. Linux Advanced Systems and Network Administration (LPIC-2) certifications. Some self hosted WordPress CMS / HTML / CSS experience since 2006 (Set up and tweaked 5 sites). MCITP Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008 R2 certification.

• Worked a few years as a team leader for a medium sized organisation for musicians in Rotterdam.
